A recent project with https://www.spectrum-plant.com/ has lead to us building our first prototype arboriculture skip, built for our range of Hook Lift Trailers.
The idea first came about when noticing a demand for smaller projects, requiring a lot of kit on a job, with the need to still remove the chip and logs, this is where our idea was born.
The skip consists of a 6m body, which includes a 15m³ chip box which carries approximately 6 tons of material, such as wood chip. As well as a 3m platform, suitable for machinery and/or log storage. Other extras can be added at request for example, extra stillages for timber storage, or with fork slots for easy loading and unloading of logs.
If you have maintenance of sites where there is a lot of remedial work, these are ideal for a one stop delivery of all your machines and still having the ability to be able to bring around 12 ton plus of material and machines back at the end of the day.
We can manufacture a wide range of Skips, and bodies, which are bespoke to each customer, with minimal lead times. Including specialist products.
You can read more about the project on our sister site: Orrell Group Machinery. Keep an eye out for an article in December edition of The Forestry Journal.
POA as this is a specialist product.
